CHATEAU DE BARDOULY
Chateau de Bardouly is a beautifully restored 17th century Chateau located outside the city of Bergerac in the Dordogne Region of Southwestern France. Bergerac lies between the larger cities of Bordeaux and Toulouse. The area is renowned for its distinctive history, world-class vineyards, and picturesque countryside.
The Chateau property spans 100 acres of protected forest for your enjoyment.
Yoga can be practiced both indoors and outdoors as weather permits.
We will strike just the right balance between relaxation and exploration. We will explore the amazing offerings of the region with some full and half day trips. We will also enjoy relaxing at the Chateau taking advantage of the pool, massages, wine tasting, professionally catered meals, and more.

All rooms are double occupancy. If you know someone coming and want to room together let us know. Otherwise, fear not as we are excellent roommate pickers
The meals are going to be delicious so prepare yourself. They are prepared by a fabulous french chef. We are including a glass or two of wine with dinner, because France. If you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions note that in the registration form when checking out.
All yoga mats and props are provided so no need to travel with anything unless you really want to.
The weather is not entirely predictable and it can get hot during the day or it can rain, maybe even both? The chateau is, well, old. Like 17th century old. So while it is beautiful there is no A/C. They do have fans and it cools off at night and the pool is a delight so all will be well.
High-quality bathrobes, complimentary slippers, luxury bath/shower products are provided.
There is a massage therapist at the Chateau that can be booked on the days we don’t venture out.
Payment Dates:
September 17-24 Retreat
$1,000 Deposit required to hold your spot.
Outstanding Balance due no later than May 1, 2022.
Cancelation/Refund Policy:
$1000 deposit kept if cancelation is after May 1, 2022.
No refunds given if cancelation is after July 1, 2022.
COVID 19
All deposits/payments will be refunded if the trip is canceled due to COVID. And we will try again next year.
Full vaccination is required to attend. We will be asking all attendees to follow whatever the most up to date CDC recommendation for full vaccination is: ie booster shots. This serves two purposes: 1) Creates greater safety for all of us traveling and staying together for a week. 2) Ease of travel around France. France currently requires proof of vaccination to do pretty much anything and we don’t imagine this will change anytime soon.
